Upcoming I ♥ Faces Themes

Here is some detailed information about our upcoming themes:

Reminders:

  • If your photo has been entered on our site before, you cannot enter that photo again.
  • You can only enter ONE photo per category each week. If you have any other photos in your entry, you will not qualify to win the weekly photo challenge. We ask that each person only enter once (even if you have more than one blog.)
  • Please be sure to enter the permalink to your blog post...not the link to the home page of your blog. This will save us a lot of time in correcting links if you can remember to do this each week.

New Here?

We highly recommend reading through the FAQ's portion of our website.
This will help us tremendously and answer almost any question you could have.

WEEK 44 - November 9th - "Thankfulness"

a.k.a. - Amy and Angie's Week Off! :)

This is the week of our first ever I Faces Photography Workshop! We're so excited about all of the photographers who are flying in to learn more about how they can improve their photography with our amazing teachers.

Due to this, we will be taking this week off from the monthly challenges...not only will be working on the workshop all week, but we will be sure to post a lot of great new content here as well.

We’d love for you to still share photos during this week, so we will be having our "My Story In Photos" feature…with the theme of “Thankfulness.” This post should be all about what you are most thankful for...it can be focused on one special person in your life or it can be a big, long post about everything that you are the most thankful for. Feel free to make this post personal to you and your life story.

Here are all the details:
  • Anyone is welcome to participate (only one entry per person though.)
  • One Mr. Linky will be posted on Monday morning (and left open for the entire week) for you to add your permalink into.
  • You need to write a blog post that includes as many photos as you'd like! We hope to see some faces in there, but "faces" are not a requirement for this "My Story In Photos."
  • Usually once you post a photo on our site, you can never use it here again. This week will be different though and any photos you post in your “My Story In Photos” entry can be used at another time on our site.
  • You should put the I Faces button in your post.
  • There will be no judge during this week. This is just to have fun with and to maybe learn a little bit more about each other as well.

WEEK 45 - November 16th - "Autumn Beauty"

This week's challenge is all about capturing a photo of a person surrounded by the beautiful colors of autumn. If you don't have falling leaves and pumpkins in your neck of the woods right now, feel free to enter any photo of a person that has fall colors in it (ie. red, yellow, orange, etc.)

We are all about faces here at I Faces, so at least part of the face must be clearly visible in your entry.

WEEK 46 - November 23rd - "Sun Flare"

We are enamored with sun flare in photos...it's one of our very favorite things!

Each photo entry this week should have sun flare in it and a face. :) Since we are all about faces here at I Faces, at least part of a face must be clearly visible in your entry.

Are you not sure how to capture sun flare? Be watching our site throughout October for a special tutorial we will be featuring that will give you tips on how to best capture this beautiful effect in your photos.

WEEK 46 - November 23rd - "We ♥ Tooshies"

After all these weeks of entering face photos, we are going to take a break from them and focus on something completely different instead.

How about some butt photos?! lol!

(You wouldn't even believe how many times this theme idea has been sent to us and we think it's going to be hilariously fun!)

Each photo entry this week should have a person's tooshie in it. That's the only requirement! No faces need to be in the photo at all.

One little, itsy-bitsy reminder...this is a family-friendly site so please make sure that your photos are appropriate for our site or they will (obviously) be deleted.

To be extra careful about this issue, we are asking that no naked tooshies be entered (not even babies.) Naked tooshie photos will be deleted.

Themes are always subject to change so check back often to see if any other details have been added to this page.

We'll be posting other weekly themes soon...
