This week's photo challenge is a bit different...there is only one category for our "Wedding Bells" theme. Your photo needs to have at least one face in it, but it doesn't matter if it is a child, adult or a combination of both. Please just make sure that your post has only one wedding themed photo in it and that's it (you can change your post if needed up until Tuesday night.) Jasmine Star will be picking her favorite photos from this category.
To be considered as a top entry this week, please make sure that you follow our guidelines.

My photo was taken at the one (and only) wedding I've shot so far. Shooting the wedding photos made me so nervous, but what fun it was as well to be involved in their special day.

Is it horrible that at the most recent wedding I went to, all I could think about was, "I gotta get a good picture for I Heart Faces!"? : ) Too bad I didn't know the bride OR groom that well - I didn't want to be a random paparazzi in their face. But hopefully my bridesmaid shot will do!

Angie--I feel the same way! Weddings make me nervous, but they are so fun to participate in! Being in the middle of the festivities is a great feeling.
This is a fun and stressful category all at the same time! I am getting knots in my stomach just posting this! LOL! Just call it Wedding Photographer PSTD!!

I took this at the only wedding I've been to in the last like 6 years! It was in January and I'd just gotten my Nikon for Christmas, so I know it's not that great of a shot..Sometimes I get discouraged when I see how great other people's photos are and then how much mine is, well, lacking. I figure there only one way to get better, though, and that's to practice! (or get photoshop-LOL!):)

Enter one of my favorite shots from the last wedding I shot a few weeks ago. B&W and a touch of grain added with some nice emotion from the couple.
Mine is called the Cake Face pic :) My fav from the entire day!

How fun this week is!-Just like every week :D I only wish there was an amateur and professional categories-I feel so inadequate when I look at some of these pictures! Such talent there is! It sure gives me something to strive for!

My shot was at the wedding of my friends Matt and Lindsay. We stuck onto the stairs at the Disney Concert Hall and I grabbed this shot while she was laughing at her new hubby.
My first time entering, but I couldn't resist with such a fun theme and J Star judging!

My photo comes from a wedding where I wasn't the official shooter, but I still love the priceless expression of the bride as her groom tries to clean cake off her shoulder and cheek!
Had to submit this one...it's just too cute.
First time shooting a wedding (my dh usually does it), first time entering the I heart faces comp. Yes, I'm hella nervous but pretty pictures make me smile. Technically you can't really see the faces in my photo, but that's only because the bridge and groom heart each others faces, lol. Loving all the other wedding images :)
ha ha ha, bridge and groom! Clearly I meant bride and groom ;)

I am guilty of thinking at the wedding "Oh! This would be a good one for I Heart Faces!"
That particular image ended up fitting the "just for fun" category better though and when I saw the photograph of the bride looking into her husband's eyes, it trumped the flower girl photo in an instant.
I SHOULD be going to bed but I'm going to 'treat' myself with some time looking through this week's entries. :)

Fun contest! I took this photo just a few weeks ago as a 2nd shooter. My wife let me use the 100mm for most of the time so I got some fun close-ups.

I am not a professional wedding photographer ~ but shot my sister's wedding for her as a favor...I think the stress of doing that every weekend would be so intense ~ my hat goes off to all who do it :)

Great contest! I've loved looking through everyone's shots.
This is my first entry into a competition, so I'm very excited, and am about to look at everyone elses entries for some more inspiration. My image is one of my daughter when she was sooooo excited to be a bridesmaid recently.

As we are on the road and I don't have my 'library' with me, I had to choose from one already on my computer. That narrowed it down for me, but it was still so hard to choose!

I just had to post an extra comment here today. Having checked out Jasmine Star's blog the other day, her writing and witty way with words had me hooked. I read, read and read some more, then checked out her website. This girl is truly inspiring! For those of you not been there yet, go check it out, you will not be sorry!
The inspiration from looking at all the photos this week is overwhelming! I've only photographed one wedding and was scared to death. Now that I've seen all these great ideas I'm dying to do another one!
