Looking Forward to Week 26!

WEEK 26 - July 6th - Telling My Story: Patriotic Edition

This will be a week of no challenges here on I ♥ Faces.

(don't worry... we’ll still have lots of great content!)

We’d love for you to still share photos during this week, so we are going to attempt our second week of our "My Story In Photos" series… this time a “My Story In Photos: The Patriotic Edition” week.

Here are all the details:

• Anyone is welcome to participate (only one entry per person though)


• One Mr. Linky will be posted on Monday morning for you to enter your permalink into


• You need to write a blog post that you feel is patriotic (no matter what country you live in... we want to know what is patriotic to you.) Your blog post should include photos and those photos should include at least some people in them (we’ve got to get those FACES in there ya know!)


• For this special week, you can have as many photos as you’d like in your post…it doesn’t matter a lick to us how many you include.


• Usually once you post a photo on our site, you can never use it here again. Next week will be different though and any photos you post in your “Telling My Story” entry can be used at another time on our site.


• You should put the I ♥ Faces button in your post.


• There will be no judge next week. This is just to have fun with and to maybe learn a little bit more about each other as well.

El at Through My Own Lens

El is a photography loving wife and mom to the cutest little boy! We love seeing her faces each week!

She has been a long time fan of I ♥ Faces and regular participant of Fix-it Fridays where she uses PS Elements and Picasa. Just goes to show, you don't need fancy programs to make a photo look great. Just look at this fix...
