Sharing Our Patriotic Stories Through Photos!

This week we are having our
“My Story In Photos: The Patriotic Edition”

Here are all the details:
  • Anyone is welcome to participate (only one entry per person though.)

  • One Mr. Linky will be posted on Monday morning for you to enter your permalink into (this Mr. Linky will be open ALL week, so feel free to enter your permalink whenever you'd like.)

  • You need to write a blog post with a patriotic theme. Your blog post should include photos and those photos should include at least some people in them (we’ve got to get those FACES in there ya know!)

  • Normally you can only have one photo per category in your post. For this special week, you can have as many photos as you’d like in your post…it doesn’t matter a lick to us how many you include.

  • Any photos you post in your “My Story In Photos” entry can be used at another time on our site.

  • You should put the I Faces button in your post.

  • There will be no judge. This is just to have fun with and to maybe learn a little bit more about each other as well.
Please enter your Mr. Linky name by using your name and the name of your vacation story - please make your name as short as possible.

For example: The Arthur Clan - Visit to NYC

As always, there are times when the Mr. Linky site stops working and then ours won't show up on our site....and, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this. If this happens, please just keep checking back throughout the week and you can enter your story whenever he is working again (we cannot enter your link for you.) Monday seems to be an especially difficult day for their site.

You can share a bit about your post in the comments section below. You can also share links from other stories that you visited if you'd like. We'll be posting some of those favorites in our right hand sidebar throughout the week----> !!!

How fun is that?!

Thank you for being so understanding about our need for a week off every now and then. We'll still be posting great content throughout the week so be sure to check back daily!

This 4th of July was a super-fun one for us...my daughter and I spent a "Girls-Only" weekend in NJ with my SIL, mom and niece! One of the most fun parts of our trip was Sunday's visit to NYC. I absolutely love spending time there!

Now, if we just didn't have to make the 7-hour drive back to Ohio in the morning. :(

Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend as well!

ACK! i did it again! I meant to write "Monkeys on the Bed--Road Race" but, of course, didn't follow instructions again!

Your trip to NYC and NJ sounds like it was fantastic! cannot wait to checkout your photos, Angie!

I didn't read about this week's theme until after I had posted my TWO 4th of July posts.

Such fun, and a great way to 'get to know' others : )

My husband flies a powered parachute each year for the big Independence Day Celebration. He drops this flag from his plane and makes loops around the huge gathering. :)It looks much smaller in the air than it does in this picture. :)

Love reading everyone's patriotic stories and looking at their wonderful photos. My story is about my brother being deployed to Afghanistan.

Sorry for the double entry. I'm an idiot and didn't paste the fist time so my last entry showed up! The stories are great. Thanks everyone and thanks co-founders for your patience with me!

Wow!! Thank you so much for featuring my photo as one that caught your eye!! I am truly honored! Especially for this theme- I have a lot of family member's in the military and what they do day in and day out for our country is just so amazing!! Thank you so much!! :)
