Any photographer (Beginner, Amateur and Professional) is welcome to join in on our weekly photo challenges (you can enter one photo for each category.) Anyone can enter on Mon or Tues. Challenges close down at 9:00 p.m. (central) on Tues evening. Please enter only ONE photo! If you have more than one photo in your post, your entry will not be eligible to win this challenge.

Just posted! I love this theme and knew just the photo I wanted to use. I look forward to seeing all the other enteries!
I love participating when I feel I have a good photo to contribute. I just recently started playing with actions and would love any comments. I have an older version of Photoshop so they don't always work just right, but sometimes I love any oopses too... gives the photo character. Have a wonderful week... off to see some photos.
Help! Even though I entered the permalink, it's not working for entry # 73 (granspics) I've tried re-entering and it works momentarily, but the system deletes the second entry. I've sent an email. Hope you can help me before the deadline is up! Thanks.

This is such a fun theme. I bet there are going to be some funny as well as very touching shots. Can't wait to see them all! I am due tomorrow and actually just though, "I hope I don't go in to labor before I get to see everyone's shots!" **I don't think I actually meant that ;)
my photo this week is not my normal closeup shot. recently our speech and debate club helped "man" a Run For Their Lives 5-K race in our hometown. proceeds went to 4 local pro-life pregnancy centers that provide services, outreach, and counseling to young women who find themselves in an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. i chose this photo because the mom was such a role model for the day. she brought her 3 children and together they ran the entire 5-K. they made an amazing finish. if i could have shown 2 photos i would have also shown them crossing the finish line - one child is screaming, one is almost asleep, one is trying to decide whether to scream or sleep - so funny! i thought this one better showed the theme of our race day...pro-life! and take a stand for the unborn! thanks i♥faces for this candid category. i didn't have to look far for my shot :)
Entry #73 update: I think it's fixed now. I had failed to make the photo public when I put it in Mr. Linky. I've changed that now and it seems to be working. Thanks to Angie for her quick offer of help! Now that my panic has subsided, can't wait to look at all the other great entries!

What a great theme! I had a hard time finding candid photo's with faces that I liked better than my candid's with backs to the camera though.
I have alreayd seen some pretty funny and amazing photos! I am loving this theme!

Can I just tell you how excited I am about our judge this week?!?! Not to mention candids are truly my favorite type of photography.

Great theme- I actually don't have too many candids (probably because my son is only just now getting to the active stage!) so this reminded me that I should get out my camera for candid shots more often!
This week it was hard for me to pick a photo, I don't know why it was so difficult for me. But everyone's pictures are great, and I would welcome any comments! Have a great week!

What a FUN theme...I seriously always look forward to Mondays! I had a hard time choosing my photo fo this week, but I'm pretty happy with the one I entered!!!
finding a candid was tough, but i think i found one that is quite "culturally relevant."
Why was finding a candid so hard when I have thousands!? Oh, maybe becasue I have so many...LOL. I am having so much fun on these challenges
It was easy for me to find a candid -- almost every picture of my kids is candid! I have the hardest time getting them to pose for me :) Glad I was able to participate this week!
I had the best time looking through my pictures for this week's photo. I take a lot of candids. I finally settled on this one because of the expression on her face :). Makes me happy.
I love this one! Candids are my fav. I think the shot i posted is my favorite shot of all time!
I really enjoyed looking through all of my photos for a great candid shot. The one I posted is one of my absolute favorites! These challenges are so much fun and I really enjoy participating!!

I Heart I Heart Faces photo challenges. :) This is only my second week participating and I am alread hooked. This site totally inspires me with all the awesome entries and tuturials, etc. LOVE IT!

I take so many candids that it took forever going through all my pics. In the end I kept going back to the picture of my youngest giving her daddy a kiss. It's familiar as it's what I used for my blog header, but it's my favorite.

Love the theme this week! I finally got the chance to enter a photo I love and have been wanting to use but hasn't quite fit any of the previous themes.
i posted a pic outside my normal comfort-zone. home it goes over ok!
I wish I had been up at 3 AM to enter today. Fortunately, I was busy getting a good night's sleep. However, I've gotten my entry in almost a full day before deadline so I am happy about that.

I'm so glad I found this blog last week! Too fun! One question from a newbie tho...my pictures always end up pretty small and not very sharp after I post them on my blog. How do you folks keep your pictures looking so sharp?? I'm always a bit disappointed with them after I see them on the blog. :-( Let me know if you have any tips! Thanks. You all are awesome!
