Any photographer (Beginner, Amateur and Professional) is welcome to join in on our weekly photo challenges (you can enter one photo for each category.) Anyone can enter on Mon or Tues. Challenges close down at 9:00 p.m. (central) on Tues evening. Please enter only ONE photo! If you have more than one photo in your post, your entry will not be eligible to win this challenge.

I always let my husband pick the entry out of three that I chose...as he infamously said about this week's choice: "Well, it's not a winner but at least she's cute."
I love the theme (especially Angie's take on it!) and can't wait to see how creative everyone is!
fun theme this week! i had a recent photo shoot with a little 3 year old. first one of those i've done :). i had this great thought to take some balloons and try to get pictures of her playing with them. well, she played alright. somehow she managed to untie them from the weight they were attached to and i noticed a second too late to catch them. i got a great solar flare shot when the balloons drifted in front of the sun :)
So many great entries already. I know I will see many, many amazing shots. Thank you all for your amazing work; many of you inspire me to do better!
I cannot wait to be inspired by all your entries this week! Balloons are such a fun prop for any photo shoot and I know I'm going to see so many creative takes on the theme. Yay!!

I'm lovin the theme this week! One of my favorite things is balloons!
I didn't have a super cooperative model, but at least I still had fun trying to capture a shot. Can't wait to start looking through the entries this week.
I ♥ this week's theme!! Balloons are my favorite! They bring such a fun vibe to photo shoots! The image I submitted for this week's theme was actually the first time I had used balloons in a photo shoot! =)

I took my camera with me Friday to our school Jog a thon hoping that there would be balloons. There were, but there was also rain and wind. No good balloon shots. And then yesterday (Sunday), I was GOING to take my camera to church and get some shots of my Sunday school class, but I forgot. What should they do during the rally? A balloon relay. of course. meh. pffft. harrrumph.
SO glad that the REST of you were able to get such lovely shots... ! :<) It will be a fun week...
LOVE this theme so very much! I actually went out and bought balloons to my session for the first time last month. It was one of those "experimental" shoots where I bought tons of props and let the girls go crazy with them! Glad I was able to enter one of the photos from this session to this contest! :)
I just adore the pictures entered so far! There is so much creativity here. It makes me smile all day long : )! Happy Monday everyone!
It's amazing to see how much color balloons have added to all the entries! I like to use them at parties, showers, etc, because they are a cheap way to fill up a lot of space with color. I had to dig deep into my old photos to find a couple of options to enter and decided on the one of my sister, now a 2 1/2 year ovarian cancer survivor. She's an amazing person and I love her very much!

There once lived a girl with an unusual phobia of balloons. Sorry, but you won't see an entry from me this week. A child + a balloon = one freaked out photographer. Feel free to laugh and mock, I do it to myself!
Our son just loved the balloons we hung out for his first birthday last November. I can't believe that his second birthday is fast approaching! We'll for sure do balloons again, they're always a hit! I'm looking forward to looking through the other entries! :D

YIKES! I posted the wrong link....I blogged my balloon photo today, and used the wrong link for the contest! My shot was random, walk by a young boy playing with a balloon he was hiding behind it, so i barely captured his eyes! Thanks for a fun contest!

Nervous! First contest I've entered. My clients brought the balloons to the shoot and boy were they fun! I just love it when clients come prepared with props and ideas of what they want. It makes things much more fun for me. Love your site!

My entry is late, but I didn't want to miss this week's challenge. My photo is an old one that was taken long before I knew anything at all about photography. I'm amazed at some of the creative entries this week!
